The children and parents at The Hampshire School gave a tremendous amount of goods in response the Syrian Refugee Appeal. Through a personal connection of one of the teachers a team of volunteers are going to the Jungle for ‘The Big Clean Up’ and to provide clothes, toys, food, sleeping equipment and hygiene products. The donations filled Mr Brennan’s office completely two days running. Everyone was so touched by the generosity of the parents and children. Two of our wonderful mums organised all of the donations, working tirelessly. The children were so keen to be involved and loved working as a team to load up the vans. The children have written letters and cards of encouragement to the refugees.
