Information: Archery is a great fun Olympic sport which is open to all. It has many transferable skills which can be linked in with Citizenship lessons or Life Skills and Personal Development programmes. Some of the skills archery promotes include self-discipline, mental arithmetic, staying calm under pressure, cooperation, following instructions, working individually and as part of a team. To take part in an archery session, students must adhere to strict safety guidelines, which encourages personal responsibility and consideration of the safety of others. Information: Bruno Zacher is a second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and competed at National and International level (UAEJJF and NAGA). Mr Zacher is the Head Coach of the Kids Program at Roger Gracie Academy with over 200 children currently attending his classes. The classes will cover aspects of self-defence and Sport Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
